I have been involved in the tourism Industry for 25 years as a marketer. a working shareholder of Sherwood Inn in Muskoka and a professor at Georgian College. I have developed an ability to recognize opportunities to create innovative packages and partnerships going back to the development of the Second City packages for Deerhurst Inn in Huntsville to the new Wye Marsh Eco-tour. I continue to offer marketing consulting to various organizations in the Tourism Industry. Starting in 2003 I moved into the world of web marketing and the development of Ontario Travel North of Toronto (www.400eleven.com) 165 members, Canada Travel News (janroncommunications.com) the the ecotourism friendly site The Georgian Bay Eco Museum (www.georgianbayecomuseum.com) I am graduate of the University of Guelph Hotel Administration Honours Program (B.Comm) and have completed 20 credits towards my Masters Degree in Environmental Studies at York University. Writing a book on Ontario Travel and Tourism is my current goal.
